Individual Candle Boxes: High-quality, visually appealing boxes for each candle, designed to enhance the unboxing experience.
Nets/Dielines: Detailed dielines to ensure precise production and assembly.
The design reflects a sophisticated aesthetic, with a harmonious colour palette, consistent typography, and thoughtful decorative elements. This project demonstrates my ability to create cohesive and memorable packaging that enhances the overall product experience.
RESEARCH
To determine the direction of this packaging project, I began by creating two mood boards to explore different design concepts. After thorough consideration, I recognised that seasonal products might face a shorter sales period, potentially limiting their market appeal. Consequently, I chose to design a set of four candles. My decision was guided by my personal interest in candles and my insight into the target market, ensuring that the final product would be appealing and marketable year-round.

Merchandise Product Development
For this project, merchandise product samples were ordered through Art of Where and Printify. I created templates on Printify for patterned ring-bound journals, envisioning them as complementary merchandise for the candle set. To enhance the branding, I plan to attach Botanical Blooms logo stickers to the front covers. Additionally, I may need to add a clear sticker on the back with the Paisley Home manufacturer's logo and address. I also intend to print custom stickers to wrap around pens to accompany the journals.
Moreover, I designed and ordered long silk scarves from a Canadian company called Art of Where. These scarves are intended to be used as prize giveaways for customers participating in competitions on the Botanical Blooms website. This strategy aims to build an email list and generate excitement and value for the product, particularly during launch events around Mother’s Day.
